The fuel pump works however it is wired opposite the original fuel pump. In order for the fuel pump to work you have to reverse the wiring or the motor will still not start. It might be helpful if that information is added so consumers are aware of the change.

Yamaha pump

My pump arrived in a good timely manor and in good condition. White box and no wiring for the chance the wiring needed to be changed. The plug had to be rigged to plug onto my motor. I hope they do not fall off while off shore. I figure the more money you spend mite get you one of the two plugs used on Yamahas. Plug of indicated pump description should be on web site. Other than that the pump is operating alriight. Time will tell.
