Bought a pump for a 2005 CBR600RR. Instal went well. Pump works awesome. Had to reuse the pickup screen tho. C
Had to re used old wiring, new wiring not easily installed. Also filter at bottom of pump did not match the filter on original, had to remove and re install several times to realize the pump kept popping out because the new filter is wider but not as tall as the old. The tall old filter wedges pump in place so it doesn’t pop out. New filter leave half inch clearance or so allowing pump to pump out as soon as pressurized. Could not re use old filter, it was falling apart.
After resolving issue everything works great and arrived quickly. Would buy again
Installed it a week ago. Reused the old OEM fuel pump filter but the new pump works great. Primes everytime for now. Will update if something goes wrong.
The fuel filter it came with wouldn’t fit into the pump assembly since it went outward instead of below.
Plug and play motorcycle sat for 2 years installed this pump fired right up first try... it was delivered so quick I was able to bring it along on a track day ... this is the only place I’ll purchase a fuel pump from for my motorcycle...very very good product
