FP-1309 fuel pump for 9.9-20HP Suzuki Outboard replace 15200-89L10, 15200-89l11

Have bought 2 pumps and both wend bad within 30 days very unpleased

The Fuel Pump seems to work with some initial troubles and inconsistent pressure performance.
I installed the pump and did not sufficient fuel flow initially. I am not sure if there was air that took time to bleed out?
I ran the motor a full day of fishing but toward the end of the day the engine would start and not run more that a few seconds. Had to paddle off the reservoir.
The next day I tried the motor and after working through all the checks again, I finally got it running. Hopefully it will be solid now.
The price was right for the pump as it was significantly less than OEM but, if I keep having to fight it...maybe should have gone with OEM.
I did email support as I thought I may have gotten a bad unit out of the box. They never followed up.
I hope it works when I take the boat out in the next couple of days.

Purchased a Suzuki HP pump.. after install, still no function, tested wires, everything seemed correct.. tested fuel delivery and supply, all was well! Still no high pressure.. after communicating with them, they instantly shipped me a a replacement with no questions asked and a pre paid return label for the pump! Would recommend!
