Installed new fuel pump and regulator and bike performed worse with the Fuel Pump factory parts than before. I still suspected my original fuel pump was bad because of the whine so I ordered a different fuel pump off Amazon and then used the my original regulator and bike runs like a champ now. Not sure if the Fuel Pump factory pump is good or not but the regulator definitely isn’t and now that I have it back together and working I am not taking it apart to test. I’ve been fighting with the Fuel Pump factory parts for 3 weeks. Even installed a power commander because I thought that would help the issue, because surely the new parts couldn’t be the issue. I saw some reviews of the Quantum regulator and people complaining it couldn’t keep up which is what prompted me to switch back to the original regulator when I installed the new different fuel pump.
