Fuel pump housing snapped as soon as pressure was applied while bolting on. Replaced with old pump and will buy new OEM from local dealer.

Ordered 6 fuel pumps until I finally received two that didn’t snap when installed. I found a slight belly in the face of the pumps that caused the plastic ear to snap with the slightest bit of tightening.

Just tried to install one of the two pumps I bought.The plastic ear thru which the bolt goes broke off during installation. I had just started to tighten the bolts down when it broke. The torque I was applying at that point was hand tight at best. The engine cam was at its low point. I replaced the old pump with no problem, Is there a warranty?
